~Mid February Update~
Life is good... life is busy.
Since February hit we have had one illness after another. The boys got their Flu shots which brought on some fevers and sniffles; nothing bad.
Then we welcomed my sister home from her mission and days later found out we had been given LICE from another family member; the worst part was having to call all our little friends we'd just been with and explain, "Hey check your kids!" Boo... However, we were able to catch the lice early on and aside from having to watch EVERY last blanket, rug, towel and article of clothing because it's ALL OUT TO BE PACKED.... sigh... it really wasn't too bad. Treatments, laundry, repeat. The main hang up was when the dryer broke 11 loads into the 22 estimated loads I had quarantined.
From there we've had colds and I up and lost my voice for 1 1/2 weeks.
We've been packing.
We've been playing.
We run all sorts of errands, and do everything we can to prepare for this next chapter in our life:
We are MOVING to NeW YoRk in 5 days!!
So while we've been here preparing on this end, Travis has been in New York going crazy trying to get ready for our arrival. He has been going out with the realtor time and time again, just hearing no and no with each apartment; I'm not worried though.
Where a door closes, the Lord opens a window... in this case, quite literally.
I seriously worry about Travis as he's preparing for presentations, a mid-term, an upcoming rotational final, presentations, patient write ups, a new resident on unit, and then running around New York trying to find a home for his family who will be arriving in a week! :)
But it will all work out.
There is still so much to do.
There is so much that has been done.
So here is a middle of the month update:

While Tayla combed through my hair checking for Lice, I got Aaron to snuggle on my lap like this for about an hour! I loved it!
