Grandma Donna spent the week here with us leading up to Christmas. Addie had a pre-made list that she’s been reciting to my mom for MONTHS of things she was going to do while Gma Donna was in town. “We’re gunna make Christmas cookies, decorate the tree, watch Christmas movies, drink hot chocolate with candy canes, and open presents.” Well baby girl,

And then as a wonderful Christmas surprise, just after my mom went home, my father in and mother in law surprised us by sending my father in law out to open their gift with us in person! I can honestly say that the love and commitment we experience from family is the ONLY thing that got me through these holidays.
And thank goodness to a new year and fresh beginnings.
Maybe this year I’ll finally commit to fixing my eating habits so I can fit half my wardrobe again!!
