This year Maddix had a Beyblade themed birthday.
He's also the first person in our family to celebrate a birthday in our new house.
We kept the tradition of placing balloons all over fo the kids to play in.
For his bday dinner he chose Perkins, and Susan and Glenn were even able to make it.
Aaron created a Treasure hunt, complete with a map, for Maddix to follow in order to find his gift.
And that weekend Maddix had a few friends come over for their first "Beybladers club." They played air hockey, shot nerf guns, and then devoured 5 bags of popcorn while watching Detective Pikachu. Then pizza, cupcakes, some backyard soccer, some very cold outdoor laser tag, and then blasting some very loud music in the truck as we drove all the friends home... it was a fun and exhausting time!

He wants to be a Corporate lawyer. He wants to have lots of investments to provide perpetual income. He wants to retire early and live in Italy with his family.
He wants to be married with kids and a dog and cats.
He goes back and forth about working in congress because he wants to fix the broken laws.
He has big goals, and we love him dearly.
Ps. This year he was on Newman's Football team and they went undefeated all season! On Saturday's morning game Maddix scored a touchdown and then yanked the flags off the QB in the final play of the game to clench their win!!!
So then we played a second game, the final of the tournament, and they WON!!!
Way to go Mad Maddix; keep that blue ribbon and remember that time you were champions!
