October 3rd-October 8th

Monday
All the kids went to school. I did grocery pickup and then parked at Susan’s house so I could go for a run before our visit. It was the same route I used to run when we lived over there and it was nostalgic to be out running, not to mention such a gorgeous fall day.
My visit with Susan was so nice, but always too fast and it was fine to pick up Avery. We went it the park for a minute and then home to wait for Addie.
My girls started dance and they were ADORABLE!!!

Tuesday
We drove to Ventura to pick up our “cow!” We put money into a cow this year and then had it butchered. There is SO much meat.
We had baby Baylor over and it turned into the CUTEST thing. Aaron took it upon himself to take care of the baby. He read to him for about 30 mins. He then did flash cards and eventually brought over “basic math problems” he told him. Lol! He also insisted on changing his bum and rocking him to sleep. I mean… could he be any cuter?!
We then had a farewell dinner with Elder Woodruff; I will miss him. He is one of my favorites.

Wednesday
We had workout hour then the library with all the little girls & they were the cutest!
Addie for her very own library card! She was so excited! It was her idea.
After the library my girls and I walked to Music Man bridge and just soaked in the beautiful fall colors!
Mutual was combined and we did Conference Jeopardy.

Thursday
Well we decided to do something crazy. If we weren’t busy enough, we decided to hurry and fit in family pictures!! But I DONT regret it!
We decorated our porch for fall.
Addie has this awful mystery rash that is getting worse. We are working on it.

Friday

Maddix turned 12!! Each one of his siblings took special care this year to use their own money to find gifts for Maddix… their idea. He had all his special birthday foods and then we took him up to the cities to pick up grandma from the airport, play on the rides at the MOA and eat dinner at Olive Garden.

All in all, it was a pretty great birthday.

 Saturday

Travis and I took our drive home to the MSP Airport and honestly that drive was breathtaking! The colors were just popping all over the place! We flew direct to Honolulu and had a 4hr layover there before continuing our flight to Maui. Then one more long drive and we finally made it after 18hrs of travel.

Meanwhile, grandma took over the kiddos and Maddix rode with several different parents to and from his soccer games. He played goalie for both games!
