~Winter is on its way, but NOT today~

New York in the spring was... better than winter.
New York in the summer was absolutely fun.
New York in the fall is FaBuLoUs!
We love the leaves, the colors, the smells.
We've enjoyed the snacks and festivities.
We love the football.
Now Basketball too!
But man... we can wait for the winter!
We reeeeaaaalllyyy CAN wait. We can feel that chill in the air that has driven us inside,
where we have bundled up in blankets, nap a lot, and essentially hibernate!
However, we do have things to report; we still get out and have fun.
And with Halloween, a few more interviews under Travis's belt, and the last of Travis's core rotations, and the Holidays in full swing, how could life be anything but good? :)
Travis:
Was able to knock two more interviews down and out of the way. He just finished his last core rotation so life is about to get that much easier! And he's just enjoying family time. Also he is so ready for residency and to become a doctor!
Lacey:
I finished Pride & Prejudice and just started the Book Thief (not sold on it yet). I finally kicked up the exercising and eating healthier (no Sugar November), and just LOVE being with my family.
Maddix:
Loves to lead Aaron in games, prayers, school activities, and all shenanigans. He finalized his ability to button all his clothes by himself, and loves to use the word "restitution" in as many sentences as he can correctly muster up.
Aaron:
Doesn't exist anymore; he's just mini Maddix. Seriously does EVERYTHING his big brother does. No, he is definitely his own little man. He is always goofing around. Loves music, that boy. Absolutely must cook dinner with me, and make breakfast, and well if I'm in the
kitchen, he must be in the kitchen.

for where we parked

 Reading time amongst brothers

Was supposed to be in bed, but was giggling
on the floor because he anticipated
how I would react to find him
out of bed. Goof.

waiting for the subway

Grand Central Station

Grabbing a slice of New York's finest pizza after the session

Good times. And even more lay ahead... Winter can just wait a few more months, we still have plans. ;)
