~A Quick Two-Week Catch Up~

The past two weeks have been fun what with Travis first being thrown back into longer hours and then all of a sudden getting lighter hours again. We've had AMPLE amounts of family time, Travis went to his first interview, and we've REALLY been enjoying the festivities.

 The Alley behind our house has been the BIGGEST blessing about living here. Many a games of Jake the Pirates, Phones and Ferb, and Cops and Robbers have taken place in this alley. And I don't think there is anything more that these three enjoy than racing each other back and forth through the alley.

 And we are VERY excited these days.... because.... the barbershop (that is basically in my backyard) at the end of our alley opened back up. And we fell in love with Rueben, our first really New York barber; anyone that can get Aaron to hold still for a haircut is a pro in my book.

 And the holiday food has been a must here in our home. Every few days we whip up something festive, healthy or not. They boys just love to help create treats.

 And can I just reiterate how STRAINING it can be to be the mother of a very active two year old BOY!? Well this was 5 seconds after I got him out of the tub, and I was bending down to wipe up the water from the floor.... sigh. Heaven Help us!
