We arrived. We unloaded. We took Travis to the airport. We got to work.
BLESSEDLY Sydney came out with us and she was an Angel while she was here. We stayed up all hours of the night unpacking, organizing, and de-mousing the house. Yes, the house came with a mouse and spider infestation. So we had to leave the house and have an exterminator come. The damage was so extensive to the basement that we had to gut it and remodel. This job was not easy, quick, or cheap. And it forced Gideon and Treycen into having to sleep in our storage room, which was currently wall to wall with boxes.
Though most of the time was spent entirely devoted to the house, we did manage to get Sydney out around the valley a BIT, with the highlight being the Deseret Bookstore, Crumble Cookie, and the tour around BYU campus. While at BYU we were invited to come meet the football team and see their training facilities. This was a very cool experience! 🏈
