A little piece of Everything

In the past two weeks we've been really organized, extremely disorganized, productive and lazy. We've been happy and upset, stressed and at ease, healthy and sick; I guess what I'm saying is we've been alive ha ha. I finally went to the instacare and have been working on getting healthy; it's been 4 weeks now of being sick, bleh. Now Aaron has picked it up, but so far his strong little body seems to be holding up.
To celebrate the fall holiday we went Apple Picking out on Long Island and just enjoyed being on a farm and breathing fresh air. It's funny to me that my boys still get excited over farms and the animals... but you think, Maddix is 5 and for two years he lived in a big city in Europe, and then travels to big cities, and then lives in New York. I guess he's more used to the big city than I thought. :) But we decided our family is like Curious George. He's this little city monkey who loves it, but also loves getting out of the city to his little farm; that's us! We turned the day into an Apple, in the Big Apple Day. We picked, then baked an Apple Pie and watched Enchanted (since it's Applish)

We also had the opportunity to get out on a date night and attend the open house for one of our friends in his amazing new apartment building, then grabbed a quick bite at Buffalo Wild Wings ( i haven't been in two years!)
We've decorated and started celebrating halloween and all that fall as to offer.
Travis and I took our belated Anniversary Celebration and purchased so nosebleed tickets to the NewYork Yankees vs. Boston Redsox game; it was FREEZING, but worth it.
Bucket List check off!
CONFERENCE WEEKEND... typically two of my favorite times of the year; I will leave it at this was the WORST weekend: combination of crazy children and being so sick again. But the treats Travis made were delicious.
Maddix learned to ride a bike, officially!!
BYU Football
We experienced our first Hurricane... warning. It stormed and rained and we all rushed out to buy supplies because everyone was warned to, and in the end all we had was a bunch of rain and the storm completely cleared up; I think Travis was the only disappointed person. :)
We love the sunny days and finally got to go back to soccer.
We've been excitedly scheduling interviews and our first one is in two weeks!
Then we celebrated our little guy's 5th birthday!
(I'm going to do a separate post for him though:)
