It’s the season… to be sick

December 6-12th
Well you know what they say, “what goes up, must come down…” “for every good there is some bad” “where there is health- sickness…”
So of course, we’ve been having some pretty happy days, so it was about time for us to get sick.

Maddix had to go to the doctors two days in a row this past week with sharp abdominal pains. After an inconclusive ultrasound, he ended up having to get a CT-Scan (oh that was not fun), but in the end it wasn’t the appendix, just an G.I. Bug of some sort.

We had our ward Christmas party and this year we decided to focus on the nativity instead of have Santa come. We sat on pillows and blankets, biblical style for dinner. Abs we had thr YW-YM freeze while we read the nativity. And we ended  with singing Christmas carols.

We also had some beautiful weather so we delivered all our neighbor gifts before the impending storm hit. We had a dance party. We ran out into the snow as a family, no shoes.. and some of us with no pants!

And then we had the stomach flu hit and begin it’s spread through the house.
