Thanks(giving)-full

Our week of Thanksgiving break couldn’t have been better thanks to Gma Vaughn and Gma Lori coming into town! Gma Lori helped Travis cook up a giant and delicious thanksgiving feast; Vaughn helped entertain children and we had the Macy’s day parade on all morning and then the dog show after, ha ha; Travis was so excited about that dog show. And it was super fun but the weather was finally doable for Travis, Vaughn, and our boys to go meet up with some friends from church to have a TURKEY BOWL! Oh I wish I could have played!

The food was amazing!

Travis had to work Friday so Vaughn and Lori bought supplies to do a Christmas craft with us. We also watched Christmas Chronicals, Vaughn read Christmas books, we enjoyed leftovers, and played the most HILARIOUS game of redneck Life!

Saturday Lori and I ran to hobby lobby, Vaughn and the boys ran errands and brought home the Christmas tree; we continued our crafts, read more Christmas books, trimmed the tree, and got the lights up on the house.

Sunday they all went to church and I stayed home and listened to Christmas carols and created a Book of Mormon timeline for myself. Then I prepared pancakes for everyone as they were coming home. We began getting the house well under way for being decorated. And then spent the evening celebrating Travis’s upcoming birthday!

Oh and just a side note: we had a dead mouse in the basement  earlier in the week…. YUCK!!!
