~Summer Lovin' Had me a Blast~

Once again, it's a picture marathon because the days have just been too jam-packed to remember it all; all i know is when we're not sick, we're not inside!

BACHELORETT PARTY!!!!
One of my co-workers and good friends got married to my manager, and also good friend after a long time being together:) I thoroughly enjoyed myself. We started out by taking a limo to Park City where we had dinner at Cisero's and played a few games/opened presents. Then after that we went downstairs to their bar and.... freaking danced and kareokied until we couldn't sing anymore!

Drinks in the limo

Bride to Be

Dancing the night away!

Getting Crazy
Very crazy!

All the ladies who came to the party!
I think the best thing about going out with the ladies and having a fun night on the town was knowing that Travis had the boys on a boys camping trip! Travis even had his dad come along and they had a great time:)
Travis said Nala slept curled up on Maddix's feet and right next
to Aaron's port-a-crib; she is such a good girl.
One dirty boy when he
came home!

Enjoying some fishing.

The next day I was able to go on a 9 mile run before Travis and I went up to Sundance for the wedding. Everything was beautiful, especially the bride. The night was even more fun than the night before. We formed a giant circle and just danced crazier than I have in my life. We started with just four of us, but by the time we ended we probably had 20+ people. The night was a blast!

U. Colton's High school Graduation
Why are graduations so long??

Maddix did a pretty good job entertaining
himself... well not totally by himself

But by the end we were snapping
tons of selfies just trying to make
it all the way through

Congratulations Colton!

We are so proud of the young man
you have become

These two are great men

 Flooding in the Backyard
So the irrigation water turned when it wasn't supposed to, and the end result was a backyard covered in water and a giant bubble of water building under the grass! Maddix and a few of his little friends Peyton, Beckem, and Oakley had fun playing in all the puddles.
The water blew up through
the well started flooding
the whole yard

The water bubble that began
forming from all the water

Just having fun spinning around in all the water

Kicking the soccer ball through all the water

We had a blast!

Wednesday-Monday Happenings

WEDNESDAY:
What do you get when you have perfect weather, a family walk with kids on bikes for some of their first times, a baby in a stroller, and a dog that loves ducks?
A memorable family walk.
Nala chasing down a duck

Those kids had so much fun

Lori, her father Gpa Cam, and Ali
We had seriously been at the trail 30 seconds when all of a sudden Maddix was missing. He had taken off on his bike in excitement and as I chased him down, I heard a SPLASH and there went Nala into the river... the rest of the time was about the same:)
And you can guess that after a fun few hours of none stop biking and outdoor excitement, that THIS HAPPENED:
He asked if he could have lunch
after quiet time...

less than 5 minutes later,
he was out.
THURSDAY:
We had dinner at Vaughn and Lori's to enjoy as much time with Gpa Cam as possible while he's here; they really have been running him ragged. Earlier that day they had taken him to Sundance, and the day before that, Bridal Veil Falls, and each day they sleep in a little later, but Gpa Cam is still up ready to go:) Thought you'd like that Gma Jo; when he comes home to you he'll be all partied out.
We enjoyed our night and headed to home...
only to find out THIS also happened that night, needless to say, it was a big night:

FRIDAY:
We decided to take a walk and enjoy the beautiful weathers while Travis was a the library REALLY cranking out the real study hours before his big test that will be here this week. Maddix loved riding his bike, Aaron loved having a stroller to himself, and I loved that when I said it was time to go home, Maddix actually begged for more time outside.

SATURDAY:
As always the morning goes fast then it's off to work; however this time Travis decided to take the boys to the sitter with me and then drive over to the library.
By some shifting of the planets I actually finished up work early... and then had no car and Travis still had another hour on his practice test, so I actually got to sit and stay with my other co-workers who have turned Saturday after work into a ritual event of just sitting and talking for hours; it was fun being able to stay for once. Then once Trav came and we got the boys we were off to wash/vacuum the car since our new blue beauty was looking a little run down. While there the boys and I found our own way to entertain ourselves:
"Mom, look at me!"

"Get a picture of me!"

Another car.... oh, another car
We even ran into my mother while we were there and it made the experience that much more fun.

SUNDAY:
First time at the 1:00-4:00 church time, and Travis said he did NOT like it that late. I once again got scheduled to work, but I was excited to take my bike to work so the boys could have the car for church. It's a 12.4mile bike ride and I cut my time down this last go by 10 minutes; I was pretty excited.
After work I hopped on the bike and rode 4.5 miles to my mom's where I played with Nala while waiting for the boys....
.... THEN it was off to a final dinner at Cam and Shawna's while Gpa Cam is in town.
Enjoyed the food.
Enjoyed the company.
Did NOT enjoy the attitude of my 3 yr old; however he sure knows how to crack U. Joe up.

MONDAY:
CLEANING!!!!! I find by Thurs my home starts to fall apart as I head into my weekend shifts. So Monday I was able to wash and fold 5 loads of laundry, clean the kitchen 3 separate times, clean Maddix's room, fight to take back my room, cleaned out a garage, and straighten up the other rooms.
It was such a fun day though. In between the cleaning  I went out with Maddix during Aaron's first nap and we went to town with the chalk:
our solar system

He kept hopping from planet to planet saying, "Oh, I have to get off  this planet, it's too cold.
Oh I can't breath these planets are too gassy. Earth! My home! Ope, now these planets are too hot!"
so cute.
Right after this, we loaded up in on the bikes and went for a ride to enjoy Trav's quick break before heading to the library.
After lunch Maddix was invited to go play on Cousin Bella's new play set while her mommy did yard work and Maddix had SUCH a good time. When I picked him up I asked, "what have you guys been doing?" To which he responded, "We've been on hundred of missions fighting a hundreds of bad guys. Now we're going on hundreds of more."
While he was gone though I had a really surreal moment: my son was having his needs met by someone else... not just sitting in front of a cartoon or forced to play by himself while I cleaned. My baby was going down for a nap... and my 3 yr old was gone. I gOt To cLeAn By MySeLf!
THAT'S how I was able to clean so much.
And when I picked him up, he didn't throw a fit to go home... after easing into it for 40 minutes:)
Add in an end of the night movie while I make dinner,
singing to Aaron while Maddix cleaned up his own toys,
a chapter of the Chronicles series while tickling maddix's back,
and then songs to both the boys while they fall asleep,
and that makes for a really good day.

Finally Healthy

I can't describe how nice it's been to be healthy; I mean all of us healthy, at the same time. We've been trying to take our healthy bodies and use them to the fullest. Leave no minute wasted, no good weather un-enjoyed :) So basically here is our past week in picture form. There are a lot of photos!
Travis took the boys to meet up with Gma and their cousins so she could get photos of them in their Easter Outfits she made them, yes, made them:
Creamery fries and ice cream
after the photos

Love my boys
One morning Maddix came into my room wearing a glow necklace, his army guy hat, and sun glasses; he told me he slept in those things, then sang me "I hope they call me on a mission since he was all dressed up!"
My brother is a senior this year and is graduating! I can't believe another one of my siblings is about to leave on a mission. Last Tuesday we were fortunate it enough to attend is ROTC Graduation. Maddix LOVED all the uniforms and enjoyed all the clapping; way to go Colton! We are proud!
Last Thursday the weather had some brief moment of freezing, mixed it with beauty;
so we tried really hard to catch the beautiful parts and met up at the park with Mackenzie/Mercedes, and Camille H/ Mattix/ Davin. We had lunch and met a few new friends there; Maddix was on BEST behavior that day.. I was so proud.
First time in a swing :)
Also that day Travis REALLY needed a break from the books and it was my last day off, so we decided to celebrate Mother's Day by driving to City Creek. They boys were great. We purchased some new make up since I had to throw away my other make up due to pink eye. We explored the Disney Store, played around the water fountains, crossed over the bridges while looking for fish, and enjoyed a pricey  TASTY dinner at The Cheese Cake Factory; once again the boys were so well behaved... that must of been their present to me!
Then to end the night I got to go play in a softball game where I did pretty well. Travis got to come watch after the boys were in bed. Last Thursday was near perfection.

Friday was fun.
Since we weren't able to go to church the Sunday before, miraculously, we were all healthy; so for the first time in months, we were able to attend our wards Play group they have almost every Friday. Maddix loved all the toys, and Aaron just couldn't get over all the other babies his size!
Saturday I got to bike to work,
which I always enjoy, and then we experienced the busiest Saturday in Chuck-a-rama's history! Needless to say, I just got a ride home. From there we went to Costco, found it closed, then to Walmart, found it slammed since it was Mother's Day weekend... and then finally made it home!

Sunday, Mother's Day
I had to be to work pretty early, but Travis took the boys to church and collected a flower for me because he remembered me saying, "You know, I've never had Mother's day off here in the states. I've never gotten that cursed flower I'm supposed to get fore being a mom." :) So he got it for me.
Then we went to my Mom's, and then over to his U. Cam's for dinner. Over there I got a brief call from my sister who's on a mission, but the reception was bad, so it was very brief.

Monday, Cleaning!
All I can say is, Maddix decided to help, and it resulted in a soaked Shirt and a surprisingly soaked clean bathroom floor!

Tuesday Fun
After breakfast and around Aaron's nap, my dad and I took Maddix in the bike trailer with a ton of books and set off for a good and long bike ride; Maddix got bored after 30 minutes and was REALLY tired when we finished our 15 miles; you can guess that after lunch he sacked out during quiet time. Unlike his brother, Aaron stayed awake through his second nap and helped me get everything ready to go take Nala to the vet for her check up. Then we got to go to the park again with Camille CH/ Maverick/ Hadley/ Ace/ Brian.
We threw the duck to Nala a lot (because she apparently has 11lbs she needs to lose), and enjoyed the sun.
Then when I got home I found out there was going to be a last minute family dinner at the Los Hermanos in Lindon since his Grandfather came into town; everyone was so excited to have him here, and I was quite happy to finally meet him. And I was even MORE happy that the boys didn't have to come with us.... because the other day when Maddix was WELL behaved, well this park day was quite the opposite, so it was nice not to wrangle with the children!
Okay.... I think that's everything!
