Sometimes we sucked it up and went out.
A lot of times we just stayed inside... where is SPRING?!
I have funny boys though, and being stuck inside
really brings out the lengths of their creativity! :)
The theme of this week seemed to be PIRATES~Arg!
We've dressed up, sailed the never seas, colored Pirates,
sang about them, and even Aaron's hobbling around like he
has a peg leg because he hurt his toe and refuses to walk on it.
Most of the week moved quickly, just another week of
settling in. The highlight was definitely our
Friday Field trip with our Travis!

SO!! We were playing Pirates and I couldn't get over how much Nala looked like Howard Stern. :D

Then the pirate games started, and the selfies started. Both Aaron and Maddix took turns taking pictures of themselves.

Field Trip Friday!!!!
My favorite :)
We started out early and took the subway to the Museum of Natural History to visit the Hayden Planetarium since this week Maddix learned about the Planets. Then before heading home we strolled through Central Park. When we got home Maddix took a walk with me to Rosa's Pizza, just the two of us to pick up the BEST pizza I've ever had in MY LIFE... and it's called the Grandma's Pizza.

and just soaked up
all the travis
time we
could
get!
