We're home and it feels like fall!

The summer really feels over.
Our back to school items are purchased, the
doctor's apt's all arranged, and back to school night is
this Tuesday; summer really is over.
And if to seal the deal that summer really is leaving, the weather
here is in the 60's, the birds seem to be migrating, and the leaves are already
turning colors and beginning to fall.

Travis
He is thoroughly enjoying this radiology rotation.
He gets so much time with the boys to play, read to them, have them learn from him, and run errands with us.
He is here for breakfast and even dinners.
He cruises around on his scooter, says his patients question whether he's the Dr. or the patient:)
Is so excited for BYU football season to be underway!

Lacey
Getting fatter... including swelling that started with the drive home.
Really felt the finality of the last of our days together before school starts.
Got the house, errands, yard, and apts. back under control!
Thoroughly enjoyed my date night! Travis and I ate dinner on the dock, then scootered around Big Blue (he on his Scoot scoot, and me on the boys' razor scooter), then we sat in the trunk to eat dessert and overlook the sun set and ducks. It was just so much fun to have time to just us. After we put the brought the boys back and put to bed we stayed up late watching a movie:)

Maddix
Constantly reminds me of the two things he is most excited for: School to start, and the baby to come.
He loved going to each of our friend's homes.
Loved all the bike riding we did.
Loved being back to church.
Loved discovering Sonic, the cartoon on Netflix.
Has started requesting I lay in bed each night so we can have private chat time. He tells me all about his likes/dislikes, interests and worries, etc. I love it as well.
Loves The Newsies.
Is learning new chores and prepping for when the baby comes and I'm out of commission.
Was our party planner for Fun Friday Movie night: He chose Alvin & the Chipmunks, accompanied by cheeseballs and root beer as the movie treat.
He loved working on the car with dad.

Aaron
Keeps running around saying, "Have no fear, Brooklyn's here!"
He gives a big clearing of the throat before every prayer he says.
He also enjoyed catching up with all the friends.
Has loved his outside time.
Helps me cook and bake each day.
Also assuming more responsibility in preparation for the baby's coming.
Enjoyed making homemade Salsa with dad.

Nala
Loves EVERYTHING about being home, especially the cooler temperatures.
Has been enjoying her evening walks we're getting out on.
Her highlight for the week was spending two hours out in a field chasing sparrows and having a bawl while the boys rode their bikes around the track and hills.
She slept like a baby that night.

Baby Addi
She has more movement these days.
She always pushes hard if Aaron is on my lap; she seems to want him out of her space.
She's already made friends with Nala, at least on Nala's end because the dog likes to rest her head on my belly, like she knows there is a little person in there.
She receives ample hugs, kisses, noogies, and conversations from her brothers.
She has officially reached the third trimester.

28 Weeks; third Trimester
