Once you become a parent are there every such things as peaceful Sundays? No matter what time your church is one of your kids is going to miss their naps... and for us that is like pressing the destination button on a bomb; it's just a matter of time until they explode.
I have to say however that this past Sunday was as close to peaceful as it was going to get. We headed back to the house just after Sacrament with two screaming babes, and although Maddix did not take a nap despite his immense exhaustion, he was at least contained in one room where he stayed for a VERY long time:) And lucky enough for us Aaron even napped for a bit at the same time. This left us to just lay on the couch and cuddle to a Sunday Movie; I can't remember the last time Travis and I just sat and cuddled! Then that night, we waited until it was dark and made smore's around the fire, without any mosquitoes! That was the BEST. I found myself swatting at nothing just out of habit from being eaten alive.
Day 4
Loved running to the water's edge then running away from the incoming tide. |
... Need I say more??
He was cheering Travis on |
We were just hanging out under the umbrella. He loved the colors. He Just kept smiling and laughing at them |
Our awesome set up. It was even better than the first day |
Buried Maddix in the sand (ignore that his knee had just popped out). |
Oh yeah... we succeeded in wearing this guy out! |
FuN iN tHe SuN!
