Baby Update: 3months old

Look at this little cutie? Can you believe that he is getting so big? And by stating that phrase every month... does it really make him grow any slower? No. You can't stop time. I find myself torn on a daily basis of loving the independence we're gaining by how fast he's growing, and not wanting him to get any bigger because it feels like in the blink of an eye I was feeling him moving in my belly, anticipating his arrival, holding him for the first time in the hospital, and now he's already 3 months old!

Well without further ado here is Aaron's update:

Sleep: This works out pretty well seeing as I come home from work at 10pm and feed you around 10:30-11:00pm. Sometimes you are asleep when I get home from work and I wake you to eat, other times you are wide awake, just waiting for your meal; either way, after you eat that last meal you zonk out and pretty consistently sleep in until 5:30-6:30am. On really tired mornings (like this morning) I will put your binki back in and you go back to sleep until 7:30ish.
Almost always after you eat in the morning you go back to sleep until 8:00-9:00am (varies on when you eat). If you eat at 7:30 then you stay up for awhile.
Throughout the day your are really a graze napper. You don't like to stay down very long. I find you will eat, be content with that full belly, play, get a little tired, become ornery, and then go take a nap for about 20-45mins (never long enough to get anything done).
Sometimes you wake up during the night (two nights ago) and stir and have to cry back to sleep, this is never my favorite seeing as we live with other family. For most naps you cry yourself to sleep, but honestly you usually cry 15mins tops and you're out. Overall you are a fantastic sleeper. And I'm very blessed.

Weight: I am not sure what you weight, but you're a big boy ( at least I think so). You have thsi cute double chin and thick rolly-polly legs, and a cute little Buddha belly:) I would guess you're around 14bls

Milestones: This past months you have begun to laugh (even though you rarely share it with us. You like to smile and ALMOST laugh, but then you hold back... grr). You can completely hold your head up (you have for awhile, but had a little wobble) with out the occasional neck giving out. You've begun holding on to your binki and playing with it.

Likes: You LOVE to talk and gab with those around you. You can't get enough of your older brother, Maddix. Sometimes you get really sucked into the T.V. or computer screen. You're pretty fond of Nala and when she sniffs you.
You absolutely love it when someone stares at you, you lock eyes, and then smile really big at each other! Then when someone says "hi" you smile big and make a similar noise... I think "hi" might be your first word in the future, but then again you're really good at the "mom" sound. You also enjoy when Maddix teases you.

Dislikes: You very much dislike being hungry. You're not a fan of crying to sleep. If the car is stopped at a red light you typically scream; never have a disliked red lights like I have since you've joined our car load!

Anything Else: Honestly you're such a bright light in our home. You're a peacemaker for sure, and you're SO patient with Maddix... in fact he gives  your father and me a run for your favorite person!

Tummy Time
