There was some morning tickling/torturing
Weekends... we just LOVE them, especially now that Travis is gone during the whole week. Unfortunately, I am back to working weekends so we still have limited time together; however, I think we thoroughly made the most o this weekend.

7 peaks trip!

Maddix wasn't a big fan of the slides
In the morning we enjoyed going to 7 Peaks. After work Friday I was planning on coming right home and going to bed but I found Travis and his parents watching For Love of the Game and it was at the beginning... so we ended up in bed around 1:30am.

The next morning I woke up at 5:30am and Tayla and I headed to the Timp temple to be there by 6:30am so we could prepare Tay for the 8am session where she was going to take out her endowments! I constantly reminded her of the items she needed to have, and even checked my bag multiple times so we were prepared. The one thing I forgot to check... well that would be the recommend I handed them at the front desk and they kept because it expired in May :( Seeing as I was supposed to be Tayla's escort I would say we were very blessed that my Grandmother only lived a mile down the road and was already awake and ready, so she came as quick as she could and took my spot. I ended up walking back to her house to find my Grandfather and dad already gone, with all the doors locked. Well I'm 37weeks pregnant and I had to go to the bathroom really bad so I did what I had too... and I got inside:) After that I took a nap and then walked back to the temple to meet everyone outside for pictures. Travis was there to greet me with a hug of a apology that I couldn't go, and as sad I was I am just so happy that Tayla was able to go through. Honestly, I couldn't be mad at anyone but myself because it was my line of choices that kept me from going in; the lesson I learned is to always be prepared!

That night while I went to work Travis and Maddix enjoyed a Father-Son night. First they started by going to a Carnival where Maddix played in a pretty ROUGH bounce house, then they went up to Larisa's where her home sits on the Orem Fest's parade route. They had a wonderful time catching candy and watching all cars/trucks drive by. To my surprise Travis and Maddix stopped by my work on their way home and Maddix was SO excited to see me in my work environment; he completely won everyone over before they left me the car and Maddix got to ride home in Garett's jeep:)

So then when I came home from work I didn't feel real well. After trying to go to bed around midnight I was back up just before 4am and was sick all Father's Day :( Poor Travis, the moment Maddix woke up it was all I could do to get him and bring him into Travis to take care of. I spent the whole day in bed. I missed breakfast for Vaughn and Travis, and slept on and off until it was time to go out to my grandma's. While we were there it was so nice to have Maddix roaming around with all the cousins there while Travis and I just laid up on the swing on the balcony and enjoyed the evening breeze. Then that night we came home and Travis, Garett, and I climbed up on my bed to watch a movie before bed. After two nights of no sleep I was exhausted but unfortunately Maddix is now afraid of the trains rolling past our house and every time their STUPID horns went of he woke up crying! Then he woke up needing to use the bathroom, and then it was morning.....
Such a cutie
.... moral of the story is the reason this blog is one big run on sentence, and probably boring, and makes no sense is because I'm falling asleep typing it up. So sorry. But I think I will post this anyway since someday I'll look back and probably enjoy the details that came in my ranting.
The End .
